Hello! I tutor IB Economics (SL/HL). Students usually bring me messy diagrams and half-finished commentaries; we sort them out fast and tie everything back to the rubric. I’m big on micro market failures and development, and I’ll show you how to use real-world examples without drowning in statistics. Week-to-week, I plan around your school’s schedule and paper dates.

I’ve taught IB Business Management for 8 years, mostly with students in Dubai and online. Before tutoring I worked in retail strategy, so I’m comfortable with numbers as well as case studies. I support HL students with the IA and CUEGIS-style discussions, and I’m picky (in a good way) about definitions and using the toolkit properly. If finance ratios or decision trees feel clunky, we’ll practise them until the set-up is quick and neat.

I’ve helped students with fieldwork IAs on urban heat, tourism impacts, and coastal change, plus lots of exam practice with case studies that actually match the command term. I use simple mapping tools (Google Earth is usually enough) and I’m keen on the HL extension topics, especially global risks and climate adaptation. I’ll also mark practice essays with IB-style comments.

A lot of my students pick AI because they prefer stats and modelling to heavy algebra, so that’s where I lean too. We use the calculator properly, check interpretation, and practise Paper 3-style prompts for HL. I can guide a Maths exploration from question to write-up, including regression, hypothesis tests, and making the screenshots/working look examiner-friendly.
